We Respect Your Data
We do NOT engage in the selling of personal data. Your information is used solely to provide and improve your experience with our products.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Services: We use your uploaded content and search queries to generate embeddings, perform searches, and provide the core functionality of the Wickson API. We store your files to keep your embeddings up-to-date.
- To Improve Our Services: We analyze aggregated and anonymized usage data to refine our algorithms and user experience. This data does not include any personally identifiable information or the contents of any documents or media you upload.
- To Protect Our Services: We perform malware scanning on all uploaded files to protect our systems and other users. Files identified as malicious will be quarantined and may be deleted without notice.
- To Communicate with You: We use your contact information to send you service-related notifications, respond to your inquiries, and provide you with information about our products.
Your Content Stays Private
Uploaded media and content are not used beyond what is necessary to provide the Wickson API services to you.
We Exclude Personal Data from Training
Personal data and uploaded content through our API will not be used to train AI models. Our AI development efforts are supported by synthetic and publicly available datasets that do not compromise your privacy.
Your Data's Security is Our Focus
While no system can guarantee absolute security, we are dedicated to employing robust, enterprise-grade security protocols (such as encryption) to safeguard your data. We continuously work to protect your information with the same level of diligence we apply to ourselves.
International Data Processing
We process data in compliance with the relevant data protection laws in the jurisdictions of the United States, where we operate, including Canada, and Mexico.
Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. We will retain data that is important for servicing your Firespawn account and subscriptions to our products.
Data Retention Periods
Our system maintains strict retention periods for different types of data:
- Uploaded Files: Retained as long as your account is active to ensure your embeddings remain up-to-date. You can delete your files at any time through the API.
- API Keys: 90 days after regeneration or deletion
- Metadata and Vector Data: 30 days after deletion of the corresponding file or account.
- Usage Logs: 365 days (1 year)
- Transaction Records: 730 days (2 years)
User Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to the processing of your data.
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users in a timely manner, in line with legal requirements and best practices.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

Analytics Data Collection and Use
Firespawn Studios is dedicated to enhancing your user experience while upholding our commitment to privacy and data protection. To this end, we collect only the analytics data across our products and services which are necessary to provide you, the customer, pertinent account metrics as well as improve our services.
Firespawn Studios does not train AI's on your queries, uploaded content, or the contents of your files, and we do not sell any of your information to third parties. We gather anonymized insights into feature usage, performance metrics, and error reports to continuously refine the functionality and stability of our services.
California Residents' Rights (CCPA/CPRA Compliance)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights:
- Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected from you.
